  11. I use Final Data 2 on an A3000.

  13. I would like to be able to share a database with my Psion Palmtop by 
  14. exporting it as an ascii text file.  This I can do for all fields except 
  15. memos which will only save out as *** instead of the text within the field.

  17. Any suggestions anyone??

  19. I thought of writing a macro to copy the text from the memo field and
  20. pasting it in a normal text field - which will save as text, but oddly,
  21. it looks like you can't paste text copied from memos.  I could generate
  22. a report with the memos printed to a disk file, but this is not ideal.
  23. It would be labour intensive, subject to error and as a brute force
  24. method, it would be too difficult to share data on a regular basis.
